How To Stop Someone From Manifesting You

Want to stop someone from manifesting you?

While sometimes someone manifesting you is a good thing, sometimes it isn’t.

Sometimes you’re picking up on energy or having dreams about someone you really don’t want to be thinking about.

(First, read our guide here first to find out if someone is manifesting you.)

The good news is that you’re always in control. No one can get into your life without your permission.

However, this experience can be confusing or even seem scary at times.

But there’s no need to feel helpless! If you just continue to do you and affirm what you really want, nothing will happen.

However, sometimes you really want to make sure that you will stay safe and sane. If you feel really uncomfortable, you should also want to follow these ten steps to stop someone from manifesting you.

How To Stop Someone From Manifesting You: The Step-By-Step Guide

Tip #1: Remind Yourself Of Your Power

The experience of an unwanted person manifesting you can be quite confusing. Please remember that no one can manifest you without your permission. You don’t have to feel out of control or scared of what will happen next. You are still in control, just as you’ve always been.

If you feel threatened or afraid, then ask yourself why that is? How are you giving more power to them than to yourself? Why do you feel that what this person wants is more important that what you want? That can be a very big clue for your own healing journey.

(This should go without saying but if they’re actually doing something scary or threatening that’s another matter entirely! Document their actions, call the police, or do whatever you need to do to stay safe. Don’t be passive with your own safety.)

Tip #2: Reaffirm What You Want

If someone is manifesting you but you don’t want them too, it’s crucial to not let yourself get swayed by the energy that’s swirling around you.

That means: getting clear about what you really want. This is always an important spiritual and mental practice but it becomes extra important in this scenario.

For example, if someone is manifesting you in a romantic way but you really don’t want to date this person, get super clear about what you want in a romantic relationship. You need to keep an eye on this to remind yourself of why this person isn’t right for you, no matter how much energy they’re putting into manifesting you.

Tip #3: Zip Up Your Energy

If you feel that someone else’s energy is interfering with yours, the most important thing to do is to start protecting your energy.

Here’s a quick way to do this:

Imagine a white bubble of clean energy surrounding you. Imagine all that white light is only uplifting and healing and ask anything that’s not yours to leave. Then imagine zipping up that energy ball like a hoodie to keep the good energy in and the unwanted energy out.

You can do this at any time but it’s really good to make it a habit to do this before you leave your house.

Tip #4: Energy Cleanse Your Home

Energy cleansing your space is another important step for clean energy–especially if the person who’s manifesting you has actually been inside of your room or home.

We have a full guide on how to do this right here. But essentially, use the smoke of sage or palo santo to clean out an energy in your home that doesn’t belong to you.

Tip #5: Do A Cord Cutting

A cord cutting is always wise if you want to stop someone manifesting you. But it’s especially important if you’ve already intimate with this person.

Basically, cord cutting severs any invisible energetic ties you might have with this person.

To do this, lie down or do a quick meditation to ground yourself.

Do a quick scan around your energy field. Does anywhere feel heavy? Dark? Do you intuitively notice anywhere that might have an energy cord?

Now set the intention by saying either out loud or in your head: “I entirely and completely release you from my life with love and respect.”

Take your fingers like scissors and cut the energy around you to remove anything that doesn’t belong to you.

Tip #6: Strengthen Your Boundaries

Everything in life is a test. It’s less important what’s happening to you and more important what you do with it.

When someone is trying to manifest you, they’re trying to shift your will and gain your attention. They’re essentially trying to make you priortize them in one way or another.

A great way to overcome this is to become really clear about what your standards and boundaries are. Don’t let yourself get swayed by what other people want. You can practice this even if it’s not the person who’s manifesting you.

What are your boundaries? Where might they have been slipping? What can you do to reinforce them again?

Tip #7: Stop Feeding Their Energy

Energy is energy, whether in person, online, or in your own mind. The more time you’re spending thinking about them, the more likely they’ll be to succeed in manifesting you.

Yes, your actions and energy count even when no one else can see what you’re doing! So it’s up to you to stop accidentally feeding them.

That means: stop thinking about them. Stop looking at their Instagram stories. Stop going to where they work or hang out. Stop looking at their messages or doing anything that involves them at all!

Cutting them off energetically is impossible if you’re still inviting them into your own mind. So be strong and strict with yourself and put an end to it.

Tip #8: Indulge In Self-Care

I’m never mad at top-tier self-care. What better way to send yourself the message of: girl, I’ve got your back?

In the situation where you want to stop someone from manifesting you, this becomes extra important. It’s not because doing self-care will keep that person from being successful with their manifestation. But it’s important because keeping your energy bright and aligned will just make you stronger overall.

When it comes to self-care, I like to think about your whole person: body, mind, soul. What areas need a little TLC? Would doing something just for one afternoon (whether that’s yoga, a new course, reading a book) do you a world of good? Give yourself permission to put those things at the top of your To-Do List.

Tip #9: Fill Up Your Life With Something Else

The best strategy for happiness is always to simply live well. If you’re finding yourself spending a lot of time in worry or anxiety because of this person, take your mind off of it! Getting really really busy at times is the best way to keep it moving and keep your energy clean at the same time.

Make busy, booked, and unbothered your new mantra!

Perhaps it’s time for a new hobby or part-time job. Perhaps it’s time to finally start writing that book, painting, or tackling a home decor project. Perhaps it’s time for a makeover just to reaffirm your own power over your life!

Being overly busy can obviously create problems long-term. So don’t over do it. But for a short-term boost, this really does the trick!

So what did you think? Which method are you going to use first to stop someone from manifesting you?

If this is happening to you, there’s no need to be afraid. Stay calm and remember you’re in control, always. Then follow the steps in this guide for added safety and peace of mind. You’ve got this!
