30 Daily Affirmations To Improve Your Mindset

Affirmations: whether you love them or loathe them, there’s no denying their popularity in the world of personal growth and development.

But I understand why some people are not a fan! At first, trying out these new thoughts might seem all kind of strange, stupid, or pointless.

Your subconscious mind has been shaped and programmed in three major ways:

    • Through your early childhood experiences
    • Through highly-charged emotional experiences
    • Through repetition
  • Of course, the last one is the key to understanding why affirmations work. It’s true: you really can rewire your mind just by repeating these simple sentences to yourself.

    Essentially, affirmations are the art of choosing the new thoughts that you want to believe (as opposed to your old unhelpful/harmful thoughts) and rewiring them into your brain.

    Why is this important?

    We always manifest from our subconscious beliefs. Right now, you have some great intentions but your real habitual thoughts are not lining up with them. That creates manifestation blocks, feeling stuck, and usually involves you going around in circles.

    It’s always important to take your subconscious mind into account during the manifestation process.

    While there are many methods of subconscious reprogramming, affirmations are quick and easy to do and a great way for anyone to get started.


    Simple Affirmation Guidelines

    Start Small



    Pick something that resonates. If you’re telling yourself “I’m so skinny” when you really do not feel skinny then you’re aiming too high.

    In these situations, pick a neutral thought to guide your brain towards first. For example, replace your default thought of “I’m so fat” with “I have a body” before you try go any further.


    Focus On One At A Time



    In general, it’s best to choose one affirmation to work with at a time. So pick what resonates today and go for it!


    Give It Time



    Doing your affirmations/mantras only once isn’t going to have any effect at all. If you give it one session and don’t feel any different, relax! That’s normal.

    This process takes time so commit to giving it time. The longer your practice, the better (and easier!) it all becomes.


    How To Use Affirmations



    Fortunately, affirmations are simple to use and easily adaptable. Here are some suggestions:

    • Repeat them while you’re in the shower or during your morning commute.
    • Write them out in your journal.
    • Use them as a meditation mantra.
    • Write them on post-it notes and stick them to your bathroom mirror.

    2. Today I choose to align with what I want.

    3. I release my fear and limitations.

    4. I choose being happy over being right.

    5. The only approval I need is my own.

    6. I fully love, support, and believe in myself.

    8. I am abundant in every area of my life.

    9. I call in all of my desires with ease.

    10. Every day I’m becoming better and better.

    11. I trust myself to figure it out.

    12. I keep making progress even if I make a mistake.

    13. Something wonderful is about to happen to me.

    14. My desires are meant for me.

    15. My beliefs are always my choice.

    16. The Universe is conspiring in my favor.

    17. I am excited and grateful to face the day.

    18. I am committed to figuring it out no matter what.

    19. I am the thinker of my thoughts and today I choose better thoughts.

    20. I am willing to see things differently.

    21. What I seek is also seeking me.

    22. I am grateful for every lesson along my journey.

    23. I am enough.

    24. I am deserving and worthy of my desires.

    25. I am so proud of the person I’m becoming.

    26. I haven’t come this far to stop now.

    27. I fully love and accept myself no matter what.

    28. Other people’s opinions are none of my business.

    3 Manifestation Tests & How To Pass Them

    Waiting for your manifestation to come true? Wondering what to do next?

    First of all, congrats! It’s smart of you to learn more about what to do while you’re waiting to manifest. After all, it’s the stuff that comes after intention-setting that’s crucial to your results.

    This in-between moment is the perfect time for us to test our trust and to look for manifestation signs.

    But just as important as those things are, it’s also crucial to know that not everything in manifestation will happen the way we expect it to.

    It’s actually common for you to experience manifestation tests on the journey to calling in what you want.

    But of course, the Universe isn’t going to send you a billboard saying: “This is a test!

    It’s up to you to understand what to look for, so you can start passing these tests with flying colors.

    If you don’t have your mindset right about this, you’ll probably think you’re doing something wrong and give up on yourself (even though you’re actually very close to getting what you want.)

    That’s why today I’m sharing everything you need to know about manifestation tests and how to pass them:


    What Is A Manifestation Test?


    The way I explain manifestation (and life in general in fact!) is to use The Video Game Analogy.

    When we’re looping on old patterns, it’s as if we’re simply stuck on one level of a video game. We keep going through the same game path but we’re trying the same moves as we did the last time–and we keep getting eliminated.

    It’s the same thing when it comes to manifestation.

    This is why it’s so key to remember what’s really going on with manifestation.

    It’s not just about you getting something from the Universe.

    It’s really about you learning how to rise to your next level.

    Manifestation tests occur because they’re the Universe’s way of asking if you’re ready to go to your next level.

    This isn’t about punishing you or telling you that you’re not worthy of what you want! Quite the opposite. It’s about giving you the opportunities to prove that you’ve truly shifted.

    3 Manifestation Tests You Need To Know About


    Manifestation Test #1:

    Standards & Boundaries


    This manifestation test is a case of Close But No Cigar.

    Imagine this: the seemingly perfect potential partner who swoops in, charms you and then drops the bomb that they’re not looking for a relationship right now.

    Or perhaps it’s the job that seems so great on paper: cool office, the right pay grade. But when you go to the interview you quickly realize that the corporate values are completely at odds with what you really want.

    In both cases, you’re simply being asked to double down on what you really want.

    These manifestation tests are tricky to identify at times! And sometimes we might fall for them for a short while before we figure out what’s happened.

    Just FYI, temporarily lowering your standards does not mean that you’ve thrown your only chance at happiness out the window. You can get back to what you really want.

    But the choice is always in your hands.

    Will you accept the Shiny Object? The Close But Not Quite?

    Or does saying “yes” to this means you’re saying no to something else you really want?

    Remember, this is your life, your boundaries, your standards.

    That’s so much better to swallow the pill of what’s being given to you and accepting it rather than grabbing onto it out of desperation and fear, just hoping that somehow it will transform into what you really want.


    Manifestation Test #2:

    Failure


    Ever seemingly manifested what you wanted only to lose it shortly after? This could be anything from a relationship to a job–and when it happens, it’s pretty heartbreaking and discouraging.

    When it happens to you then it’s usually enough to send us running back to our self-doubt and fear-based thinking. We blame ourselves: “Maybe I’m not actually deserving of respectful love or an overflowing bank account.”

    And that’s exactly why it’s really just a test in disguise.

    When you have true confidence in yourself and your Having-ness levels, you won’t fall for the temporary illusion of “failure”. You’ll know this temporary outcome has no reflection on you.

    Remember, failure doesn’t even actually exist!

    Everything is just a learning experience in disguise, even us not getting what we want right when we expect it.

    So right now you’re simply being tested:


    Can you still trust in your deservingness? Your full self-worth?

    Or are you going to take the bait and go back to not truly believing in yourself?


    Manifestation Test #3:

    Time & Trust


    Sometimes you set your intentions, do your inner recoding work and then sit back to wait.

    And wait.

    And wait. 😫

    This manifestation test is particularly frustrating because it feels like you’ve missed a step. It seems like the Universe forgot about you or perhaps like you’re somehow cursed.

    Again, this is just another opportunity in disguise.

    The physical world sometimes takes a little time to match up to what we’re calling in. However, that in-between time after setting your intention and receiving it doesn’t mean that there’s a problem.

    Sometimes the act of trusting through the unknown is the manifestation test that we truly need.


    Can you trust even with “proof”? (Hint: this is manifestation in a nutshell FYI!)

    Can you trust even when things take longer than they “should”?

    Can you lean into your self-worth and deservingness even before you achieve what you want?

    Because if you can’t, it’s time to learn how.




    Passing manifestation tests is really always about you and what you’re ready for. It’s all just learning opportunities in disguise! How you respond to any given situation is the biggest indication of your progress.




    I know a lot of people will tell you that “good vibes” are enough. But ultimately, manifestation is a massive internal shift. That’s why it’s so important to constantly come back to what you want to be true. If you can recode your mind, trust the process and keep your standards high, your manifestation will ultimately come through for you too!

    How To Manifest Someone: 3 Powerful Techniques

    Want to manifest someone?

    Whether it’s for romance or something else, sometimes manifesting someone is the thing you really need to do! And today I’m going to teach you how.

    By far, the number one request I get from readers is “How do I manifest someone/a specific person?”

    And the good news is–you can!

    But before we get into answering that, I have a few important caveats to share first.

    First off, before we go using our magical powers on a whim, let’s first take a moment to talk about sovereignty, manifestation, and magic.

    People tend to think that using a spiritual tool (like manifestation) that their intention is automatically spiritual too.

    But that’s not true!

    Spirituality does not somehow give you permission to do whatever you like, especially when it comes to other people.

    Personally, I find it extremely problematic to want to change someone else’s free will. We all get to consciously create our reality but that’s where it ends.

    After all, would you like some random person telling you what to do? Probably not.

    So I suggest you use these techniques here wisely and always while respecting their sovereignty.

    For example: it’s okay to manifest a text or a phone call from someone but trying to get them to dump their partner/move across an ocean in order to be in a relationship with you is another matter entirely. ????

    So always take a moment to reflect before you use any of these methods!

    Second, it’s also important that you have a clear and direct message that you want to “send”.

    Here are a few questions to help you get some clarity:

    • Is there something specific you want this person to see?
    • Do you want to send a message of love, a confession or maybe even a warning?
    • Or is there a specific action you want them to take? (ie. text message, Whatsapp, Facebook message, phone call etc.)

    The important thing is to be specific and clear so don’t try to send multiple messages!

    For example, sending out something like “I want this person to know that I love them and that they reach out to tell me the same thing back” is too much my dear! Keep it simple and concrete.

    Again, please use these tips with caution and always with the best intentions for yourself and everyone else! But as long as you do that, you can definitely have fun with this.

    So if you’re still up for the manifestation challenge, let’s get into it!


    How To Manifest Someone: 3 Powerful Techniques


    Manifest Someone Technique #1:

    The Whisper


    The Whisper Techniques is a simple but powerful technique to “implant” a message of your choosing in someone’s mind.

    Take a few minutes to center and ground your energy. Then imagine your intended target, as if you were standing next to them.

    Now visualize yourself leaning over and “whispering” your message into their ear. Do this out loud if you can but if that’s not possible just setting the intention and visualizing it is enough.

    Do this completely trusting that your message will be received. Then release and let it go.


    Manifest Someone Technique #2:

    The Energy Ball


    The Energy Ball is a powerful manifestation technique that harnesses the power of energy work.

    To do this, we’re going to create an energy ball. Sit quietly for a few minutes and begin by rubbing your hands together for about 30 seconds. You’ll notice your hands getting warmer and warmer. When the 30 seconds are up, move your hands apart (about 6-10 inches). You’ll soon begin to notice that you can feel the energy moving between your two hands! This is a simple energy activation.

    Now to create the “ball”: move your hands together as if you were forming a ball in the air in front of you. (Because you are!)

    Imagine this ball of energy filling up with a color of your choice (perhaps pink, white or gold. But it’s your choice!). While you’re shaping the ball put the message you want this person to receive inside the ball. Do that simply by thinking about your desired message: “John, please text me tomorrow.” or whatever you want the message to be.

    Visualize this ball of energy becoming denser and denser in your hands. Once you feel that you’ve imprinted your message on the ball, it’s ready.

    Now bring up an image of the person you’re manifesting in your mind and simply imagine yourself moving the ball of energy onto them.

    Then just sit back, trust, and release that your message has been received.


    Manifest Someone Technique #3:

    The Dream Method


    The Dream Method is another technique we can use for communication that harnesses the natural state of open consciousness we experience during dream time.

    It’s best to do this when the person you’re thinking of is actually asleep. So set yourself a timer that will wake you up between 3 am and 5 am.

    When your alarm goes off, it’s time to start communicating using the opened consciousness of our mind.

    Once you wake up, it’s time to start visualizing.

    Take your attention to your third eye and imagine that there’s a door. Then visualize opening the door.

    Once the door is open, focus your attention on sending a small “rope” of energy from your open doorway to the third eye doorway in your recipient’s mind. This creates an energetic connection between the two of you.

    After the connection has been created, imagine sending your message along the energy rope into the mind of the other person.

    Once you feel certain that your energetic message has been conveyed, be sure to tell them to remember the message when they wake up.

    Then imagine bringing the rope back into your own mind and closing the door.

    And voila! Your message has been sent.

    If you fall asleep after you’ve conveyed the message, that’s okay too! If you fall asleep before you convey your message, try the whole process again another night.

    Remember that clarity is the most powerful part of this process! Always be extremely clear with what you’re “sending” and trust that your message has been put out there. And FYI, if you’re feeling tempted to do this again or to send another message, you’re probably not in that trusting state.

    Manifesting your dream life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows (unfortunately).

    No matter what the other teachers tell you, it’s not just about “feeling good” and “holding the frequency”.

    Sure, those things are a great start.

    But the typical manifestation techniques you’ve heard a million times only scratch the surface.

    In reality, manifestation is a 360-degree process.

    We don’t just manifest from our conscious mind (and conscious desires).

    We also manifest from our subconscious mind: and this is where many people get stuck.

    We assume that because we’re not aware of something that it must not exist. But that’s totally untrue.

    Our subconscious mind also contains our Shadow: the parts of us that we ignore, downplay and run away from.

    However, all of that denial and avoidance obviously does not make the problem go away.

    Instead, it serves to magnify those issues: after all, if we don’t heal them, we’ll continue to attract the same old harmful and toxic situations into our life over and over again, always wondering why oh why this keeps happening to us.

    As with anything, in Shadow work the only way out is through.

    Now that you know the truth, you owe it to yourself to stop ignoring your Shadow and to start uncovering the blocks hidden within it.

    Summoning your bravery and beginning the inner healing journey will transform your world in ways you’ve never even dreamed about.

    3 Steps To Shadow Integration: Healing Yourself For MANIFESTATION


    Shadow Integration Step #1:

    Notice Your Dark Desires


    Your conscious desires are the ones you’re highly aware of (think: your big manifestation goals). But they’re not the only things you’re craving. Hidden in our Shadow and subconscious mind, we all have desires for things that we’d rather not admit.

    However, ignoring or pushing away those desires is not an effective management plan. In fact, that only ensures that you’ll keep playing out repeating patterns and self-sabotaging some of your own best efforts, over and over again.

    It’s sometimes tough to admit the truth about ourselves:

    • We want a boyfriend but secretly we love complaining about being single.
    • We want to create more money but secretly we love the drama of hustling up the rent money every month.
    • We want to start our own business but secretly we love pretending that we’re not actually in charge of our own happiness and security.

    But admitting that that one tiny piece of you is really into the pain/drama/chaos is the first step to healing and overcoming.

    Don’t waste any time judging or minimizing or justifying it. Don’t beat yourself up for being *gasp!* human! Give yourself permission to allow that tiny part of you to want those terrible things.

    This is the only way we can unite our divided will and step into our full power as a Conscious Creator.


    Shadow Integration Step #2:

    Notice Your Triggers


    Have you ever gotten really upset over something but didn’t really know why? Have you ever felt extreme anger or anxiety about something that–on the surface–shouldn’t be that big of a deal?

    Those sudden dramatic or big overreactions are really just a sign that you’ve been triggered: there’s something about this current experience that’s echoing something that happened to you in the past. So your brain isn’t simply reacting from this current moment. Instead, it’s gone into protection mode. It’s gone into attack mode in a fruitless attempt to protect you from experiencing the shame, anger, or fear that you experienced in the past.

    When you bump a cup that’s full, a little bit of what’s on the inside spills right out. That’s the same way that triggers work: one tiny bump and little bit of our hidden trauma is brought right up to the surface!

    So don’t get upset with yourself when these moments happen. They happen to everyone! Don’t look at them as burdens or failures. Instead, they are the keys to unlocking part of your Shadow.

    • What does this experience remind you of? (Don’t overanalyze it! Go with your gut.)
    • What did you need back then that you didn’t receive?
    • If back then you’d received the emotional/mental/spiritual/physical support that you needed, how would you be feeling differently now?

    We can’t actually go back into our past and change things. But we always have the power to heal our inner child and to rewrite the story of us to reflect who we want to be in this world.


    Shadow Integration Step #3:

    Notice Where You Have Low Self-Worth


    Low self-worth is the classic hallmark of Shadow-in-disguise. Again, this mostly stems from childhood shame experiences that we ran away from or covered up but never actually healed.

    While we all experience shame, very few of us were taught how to manage shame in our minds. But since shame is the lowest human emotion, those wounds run very deep. I believe that until we make this work mainstream, the majority of humans on this planet are walking around holding onto painful secrets in their Shadow that are limiting and blocking them.

    For example: think of how your aunt told you you were bad at sports/math/fill-in-the-blank when you were seven and you spent most of your teenage years worrying about being bad at sports/math/etc.

    When we experience intense shame, we are triggered into a version of Freeze Fight or Flight. Most of us choose Flight: by choosing to run as far away from that version of us as possible.

    However, while this strategy works in the short term, running away never actually heals the original shame experience. That means that there’s some hidden part of us who still feels that experience deeply and probably has a low sense of self-worth about that topic as well.

    • When did you experience intense shame as a child?
    • What did you do to cope with that? Who did you have to become?
    • Who would you be without that experience? What would you stop overcompensating for?

    When thinking about shame, it’s so important to realize that shame does not mean that you are unworthy or unlovable. The experiences that made you feel otherwise are not telling you the truth. When you can extend yourself true self-love and self-acceptance, despite those experiences you get to step into your true authentic power.




    Shadow integration isn’t at all scary or mysterious. It’s actually an important tool for growth and manifestation in every area of your life that feels like lack or resistance.

    No one gets a perfect childhood so there is nothing to feel angry or upset about here. The memories you uncover during shadow work might initially sting but ultimately they will offer you so much more freedom than denying or ignoring them ever did.

    As a bonus, once you heal those wounds you can finally stop manifesting the same old negative patterns and move into attracting what you really want.

    What would it be like to TRULY be enough for yours What would it be like to TRULY be enough for yourself?💜To not CRAVE that outside approval or validation?To forget about other people's opinions or what they say behind your back?To not motivate yourself to move TOWARDS something only because you cannot stand where you are?This just goes to show that as much as we all LOATHE to admit it, so much of what we do is based off of artificially leveraging ourselves UP.If so-and-so would only say "good job"If that person would LOVE meIf I finally did [ insert arbitrary goal here ]THEN I could finally feel good and actually TRULY love myself.Sometimes we all get our wires crossed on this at times. (Myself included!)We focus on the future fantasy that our issues will MAGICALLY disappear once X/Y/Z happens.And we chase the things outside of us, forgetting that the ONLY place our true happiness lies is within ourselves.I'm here to warn you:You could run the whole race of life and NOT get what you think you need from other people.You could meet milestone after milestone and still NEVER feel like you measure up. 😩ORYou could start being enough, right here, right now.Enough = you as you are, flaws, mistakes and all.Enough = you without anyone else.Enough = you.💗Happy Thursday Conscious Creator friends!

    It's a FACT of life: you're simply NOT going to fe It's a FACT of life: you're simply NOT going to feel good all the time.And that's okay!Not gonna lie: the last month or so has been rough for me.The darkness of winter + strict lockdowns/limited holiday celebrations were TOUGH.I've definitely had my moments of letting it all get to me.But that doesn't mean anything has gone wrong.It doesn't mean that I'm somehow failing.And it definitely does NOT mean I'm putting more space between me and my manifestation goals.Even with the BEST of intentions, life is 50/50. Expecting perfection at any time will ONLY set you up for disappointment.Feeling frustrated, down, exhausted: those are all normal feelings for anyone experiencing a pandemic (plus general winter blues/ political chaos etc.)So while I don't want to create MORE of those feelings, I'm also not going to judge myself for having them.Making your feelings WRONG does not speed you up back into feeling better. It only creates self-loathing and resistance.Are you feeling the same? Here are a few things that are helping me right now:- Just letting myself cry if I feel like it (Sometimes 10 minutes of a good cry is a sufficient release!)
- Concentrating on pandemic-lockdown friendly goals that I CAN achieve (Doing pilates every day, meditation + Manifestation Journaling)
- Taking a break from drinking (I only drank about once a week anyway! But why not try going without it for a month?)
- Doing more behind-the-scenes entrepreneur stuff (The kinds of things that are so easy to put off for "someday")
- Using my SAD lamp every morning! (I only just got it but I swear it's helping)
- NOT judging myself too harshly if I suddenly don't feel up to doing the work I had planned or posting as much I "should" (Being an entrepreneur brings an EXTRA level of potential self-judgment that's hard to get out of at times.)This is all just a great example of one of the most important lessons of LIFE.You don't get to choose all your circumstances. But you DO get to choose what you do WITH them.What are you choosing to create right now? Whether you're in lockdown or not, I'd love to hear it!
