How To Talk To The Universe: What Does 1111 Mean?

Do you see repeating numbers everywhere you go?

I know I do. It’s been happening to me for years but here’s a recent example: twice in the last month I’ve been out buying groceries: different groceries at different stores, never of course thinking about the price really and the total came to ….€11.11.

But it doesn’t stop there! I tend to look at the clock at that time quite regularly. (In my last flat, my awesome roommate was very much on the same vibe as me! Meaning: we’d yell 11:11 across the flat at each other several times a week!)

One of the most common awakening signs is seeing repeating numbers like 1111 (although all “angel numbers” like 222, 444, etc are important!). While many numerical sequences are important, 1111 is by far the most universal repeating number experience. So if you’re new to the phenomena, welcome aboard! It’s pretty cool once you get used to it.

So first of all, please know you are NOT crazy and you are not alone. You should actually feel happy and somewhat honored because these repeating numbers do have a special meaning.

Just the simple fact that you’re noticing them means that you are attuned to the energy and flow of what’s happening in your life right now! So if you’re noticing 1111 all the time, congratulations! It’s a sign that you are on the right path in your life.

1111 Represents New Beginnings

Numbers are the universal language; they are universally understood in a way that words aren’t. The number one itself is a powerful symbol of new beginnings and pathways. Think of the power of the Magician tarot card: this is the first step of a brand-new journey.

Mathematically, 1 is the seed of all potentiality or the positive in contrast to the negative. In other words, it’s a clear indication that beautiful new experiences are on their way to you.

1111 Is Also 4

In numerology, of course four ones also equals four: one of the most powerful angel numbers. The repetition of the ones gives the number one extra meaning; however, the number 4 is also extremely powerful! It has many important and divine associations: the 4 seasons of the year, the 4 elements (earth, air, water and fire), the 4 cardinal directions, the 4 phases of the moon etc.

Number 1111 is made up of the powerful influences of the number 1, amplified and magnified by four. What does that mean for you? Basically, you’re getting the amazing vibrations of multiple numbers and their meanings! It’s time to stop hiding from yourself and step into your true powers!

What Does 111 Mean Message #4:

1111 Represents A Gateway

Take a look at 1111 for a moment: the vertical lines are a visual representation of 2 doors sitting side by side. The two doors represent one in this world and one in the spiritual world, or a gateway or portal between the two worlds. It’s a great reminder that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience, not the other way around!

That sounds a little scary I know but all it really means is that your thoughts and focus at this moment matter. The portal is just a reminder of your incredible powers as a co-creator!

So whenever you see 1111 (or 111) take a moment to dial back in on your overall goals and intentions and take a look around for any new opportunities that might be presenting themselves.

What 1111 Does Not Mean

The Universe is sending you encouragement and reminders through these divine winks! But a common temptation is take this logic to the next level and think that seeing 11:11 means you’re (finally!) about to win the lottery or manifest a new Porsche in your driveway.

Unfortunately, the Universe typically doesn’t work that way! It’s not a sign about a specific event; it’s more of a reminder to stay tuned into your own power.

So take this a sign to dig in, align your energy with your goals and strengthen your beliefs, not as a cue to kick up and relax because your work is done.

What To Do When You See 1111

Seeing a repeating number pattern simply means that a message is being transmitted. Your first job was to notice the symbol and your second job is simply to say thanks! Saying thanks just confirms to the Universe that the lines of communication are open and that you’re open to receiving more of these messages.

But don’t worry! I’m not asking you to stop and yell thanks in the middle of a crowded street! Just take a moment to say thank you from inside your heart and continue with the rest of your day. Know that your seeds of intention have been planted and that positive change is on the way.

The bottom line is that while 1111 has meaning, the meaning is up to you to interpret. Since the Universe speaks in symbols not language, it’s up to us to figure out our own meaning.

But rest assured that the message that you feel the strongest is the correct one! The Universe knows exactly how to speak to you in a way you will understand. It knows exactly how to get your attention and what to show you in order to make you feel or think certain things.

So always trust your intuition on this because that’s who the Universe is really speaking to!
