How To Use Tarot Cards For Manifestation

Wondering how to use tarot cards for manifestation?
While many people focus on visualization and affirmations, there’s a powerful tool often overlooked: Tarot cards.
I’m a huge fan of manifestation, and Tarot cards are one of my go-to methods for bringing my dreams to life. I use them daily to guide my manifestation intentions and achieve my goals.
Manifestation and tarot reading might seem like separate mystical practices, but they’re actually perfectly compatible—and incredibly powerful when combined. Both work with energy, intention, and the law of attraction. While tarot reads your energy and connects with universal forces to reveal what’s already in motion, manifestation helps you consciously direct that energy toward your desires.
Today, I’m sharing my secrets so you can harness the power of Tarot for your own manifestation journey. Let’s dive in!
The Connection Between Tarot and Manifestation
Tarot is fundamentally about energy, just like manifestation and the law of attraction. When you pull cards, you’re tapping into the energetic vibrations around you to understand what’s being attracted into your life. Some things are so aligned with your energy that they become inevitable—that’s how accurate predictions emerge.
The beautiful thing about combining tarot with manifestation is that most outcomes can be influenced or changed. Tarot serves as your bonus guide and helper on the path to what you want, working alongside your free will rather than against it.
What Are Tarot Cards?
Tarot cards are a tool of divination, and they basically represent all kinds of different aspects of life, different scenarios in life. And I find them a very powerful tool to speak with the universe. The way the universe speaks, of course, is not in words, it is not in logical thoughts, it is with symbols, and this entire deck is a bunch of symbols. Of course, using this is a really wonderful way, in my opinion, to create a channel of symbolistic dialogue with the universe itself.
How To Use Tarot Cards For Manifestation
The Daily Tarot Pull: Your Personal Guide
My favorite way to use Tarot for manifestation is through a daily card pull. Every morning, I shuffle my deck and draw one card. This card becomes my focus for the day, offering insights and inspiration.
I’ve found this practice incredibly powerful for aligning my energy and intentions with the universe. It’s like having a personal guide to help me navigate my day and stay focused on my goals.
An Example
For example, I have this card just happens to me at the back here today. This one almost popped out for me this morning, but this is the World card. And this is basically achieving all your dreams, being super harmonious, having gotten all the things you want in life. It’s got all the cardinal signs on it, representing astrology, and it is basically a culmination of getting everything you want in this world.
For example, if you drew this card for yourself, you would write down the date and the World, go through your day, and then realize what has come up for you throughout your day that relates to this card.
Two More Ways to Choose Your Manifestation Cards
Method 1: Using Cards from a Reading
If you’ve had a tarot reading about your desire and received positive cards, those are your manifestation tools. For example, if you asked about reconciliation with an ex and drew The Sun card, that’s your manifestation focal point. The cards have already confirmed your desire is possible—now you use that same card to align your vibrations with that outcome.
You can work with multiple cards if they appeared together in your reading. If you asked about a new job and received The Empress and Eight of Pentacles, both cards become part of your manifestation practice.
Method 2: Intuitively Choosing Cards
If you prefer to manifest without asking for predictions (which can help avoid negative messages that might create fear), simply choose cards that represent your desire. Ask yourself which card best embodies what you’re trying to manifest:
- Page of Pentacles for manifesting money
- The Emperor for attracting a new romantic partner
- Two of Cups for love in general
- The Sun for reconciliation
- Judgment for receiving important messages
While cards have traditional associations, trust your intuition. Lay cards face-up on the table, focus on your wish, and see which one calls to you—it might not be the “textbook” choice, but it’s the right one for you.

How Tarot Cards Can Help You Manifest
Tarot cards offer a unique perspective on manifestation. They tap into symbolism and intuition, allowing you to connect with deeper levels of your subconscious mind.
What Symbols Do You See?
For example, one day a couple of months ago, I was sitting on a park bench, and a dove came and flew down and landed really close to me. Of course, I took that as a symbol of peace and of love and of joy. Like, what a weird, strange coincidence.
It is really helpful, through your magical practice and your manifestation practice, if you want to open this dialogue with the universe, to start looking at everything in your life as a magical symbol. But, like I said, that’s kind of a manifestation 2.0 way of doing things, and I know a lot of people aren’t maybe quite ready to step into that magical way of thinking all the time.
Notice Patterns
If you do this practice, if you try out this practice of pulling a card every day, looking for the symbolism, connecting it back to what’s happened, you will start to create parallels. You will start to create wisdom and knowledge, and you will start to see patterns.
Sometimes, it’s really common for me to draw the same Tarot card twice in one week. This is very strange because the way I pick a card is not just the card on top. I let my hand float over all the cards and pick one.
It’s really interesting to see patterns develop, and to see how a card might come up for you many times over a season or over a month. I always think that the more times something is coming up, that means you’re not getting the message, that means that there’s something there that you really need to take to heart and you need to work on.
We are given lessons all the time. We are being given guidance all the time. And for me, the Tarot card just opens up another door to that. But, of course, with manifestation, this is all about the process of becoming unblocked. It is all about communication with our subconscious and communication with the universe. And what better way to do that than by, again, using cards to get involved?
Choosing The Right Deck For You
Select a deck that resonates with you. While any deck can work, I recommend starting with the Rider-Waite Tarot. Its classic imagery makes it easy to understand and connect with the card meanings.

Visual Placement Methods
- Tape your chosen card where you’ll see it daily—by your bed, on your wall, or by your front door

- Place it on your altar or sacred space
Meditation and Visualization
- Use the card as a focal point during meditation
- Hold the card while visualizing your desired outcome
- Imagine yourself embodying the energy of the card
- See yourself as already having achieved your manifestation
Active Engagement
- Carry the card with you throughout the day
- Use it as a journaling prompt, writing about how your life would change if your manifestation came true
- Take photos of meaningful card spreads and post them where you’ll see them daily
A Simple 3-Card Tarot Manifestation Spread
Here’s a powerful daily practice that creates a healthy relationship with the cards:
- Card 1 (chosen face-up): Who you are now—spend time honestly defining how you see yourself
- Card 3 (chosen face-up): What you want to become or achieve
- Card 2 (drawn face-down): The bridge between who you are and who you want to become—your guidance for manifestation
Place the middle card between the other two, then flip it to reveal your path forward. This spread keeps you focused on your goal while providing practical guidance for getting there.
Questions to Ask Your Tarot Cards
Instead of asking “when” or “will it happen,” focus on empowering questions that help you align with your desires:
- How will I know if I’m in alignment with my intention?
- What energy or beliefs do I need to cultivate?
- What does the version of me who has achieved this desire look like?
- What do I need to release to manifest my intention?
- How can I dissolve the blocks in my way?
Final Notes: How To Use Tarot Cards To Manifest
Tarot cards are powerful manifestation tools because they help you connect with archetypal energies that have guided humanity for generations. Whether you view them as psychological tools or spiritual guides, they can provide invaluable clarity and focus for your manifestation practice.
Remember, the cards don’t make things happen—you do. They simply help you see yourself and your situation in new ways that lead to more empowered choices. Trust your intuition, stay consistent with your practice, and watch as the magic unfolds in your life.
Start small, be patient with yourself, and most importantly, have fun with the process. Your tarot deck is waiting to become your trusted manifestation companion—all you need to do is pick it up and begin.
Remember, Tarot is a tool, not a magic wand. Consistent practice and belief are key to unlocking its full potential.
