How To Clear Space For Manifestation Success

You can manifest anything you want into your life.

The only catch?

You can’t manifest everything.

This one of the many reasons why it doesn’t pay to be a lazy manifestor! It’s important for you to sit down and figure out exactly what you want to call into your life. No one else can prioritize and do that work for you.

There’s only so much time in a day or year or life. And you only have so much energy to spread around. This human world has some limitations we need to work within!

That also means you can’t just keep manifesting more stuff into your life! From time to time, we all need to reprioritize and declutter our life, physically, emotionally and mentally.

When it comes to manifesting, it’s important to remember that energy is very fluid. It doesn’t like a void!

So when you clear out some space, something new will always come rushing in to fill it.

I’m sure you can think of several examples of this in your life: like that time a friend or boyfriend moved far away and you happened to meet someone new a few short weeks later.

So why not take this knowledge and apply this to our life? (Especially if you feel like you’re spinning your wheels and are ready to make a change!)

Clearing out the things we no longer need just creates space for something new to turn up.

If you’ve been trying to manifest something new and it’s not working, perhaps it’s time to take a step back and start subtracting before you start adding.

It’s important to create and hold space for the things that are truly important to you!

So let’s learn about five different ways you can start clearing space in your life so you can start manifesting successfully again.


How To Clear Space For Manifestation Success


1. Clear The Junk

Last week we talked about the power of using your home to manifest the things you want. This week my main message is no different: your home is an energetic being that you created. So the question is: is your home doing its best job for you? Does your home lift you up or deplete you?

One of the most energetically freeing things I have ever done was gotten rid of all my stuff when I moved to Europe. However, I know that’s an extreme example and I’m definitely not suggesting that you have to do the same thing in order to clear some space!

So just remember everything sitting in your closets, your cabinets and your shelves is yours. You care about its wellbeing. You must spend time and energy caring for it: making sure it has a space, is in good condition, clean etc. All of that caring takes up your mental and emotional energy. Letting things go really does let your brain relax and focus on what’s important!

So be vigilant and dare to get rid of anything that’s out of date, past its prime or just no longer serving you. You will feel the difference–trust!


2. Clear Your (Physical) Energy

The etheric energy of both you and your home are also important elements to consider before you start manifesting something new into your life. When was the last time you cleansed the energy in your home–or your own energy for that matter?

Again, remember that everything holds energy! This is exactly why energy clearing is so crucial, to manifesting and just to our energetic hygiene. Look into smudging or saging your space and your body to chase out lingering negativity and create space for fresh energy to come in.

For example, have you had an argument recently while sitting on your sofa? Then you’ll definitely want to make sure you’ve space cleansed that area. Otherwise you’re sitting around in the etheric remains of that argument energy–and that’s no good for anyone!

As for your own energy, it’s really healthy to conduct an energy shower type of meditation using white or gold sparkling light regularly. Think of this as a sort of Universal shower! To do one, simply set a timer for ten minutes or more and visualize the energy coming in and filling you up. And voila! You’ll be refreshed and ready to start something new.


3. Clear Your (Mental) Energy

Every day you wake up with an energy wallet: you only have so much energy to spend in your day! Yes, there are also ways to bring your energy back up but you can’t just spend and spend without eventually running yourself dry.

It’s time to take a mental inventory and notice what’s actually taking up your mental time.

Sometimes we do things out of obligation or habit that actually leave us feel drained instead of inspired. Sometimes what used to be an inspiring friendship turns a corner. Sometimes an activity we once loved now leaves us feeling cold.

So just remember: it’s okay for you to grow and change! But it’s important to honor the person you are now instead of doing things just because you’ve always done them.

It’s time to be honest with yourself–and brave enough to follow through! And no, you won’t be able to get out of everything that drains you! But some things will become a no-brainer to eliminate once you notice the real effect they’re having on you.

Remember, you also don’t have to say no to them forever! But if you notice something is draining you, this is the perfect moment to step back and take a break.


4. Clear Your Schedule

Time is a wonderful human-world way to illustrate what we think is important and what isn’t. After all, we’ll always truly make time for the things that matter to us.

Okay…so that’s not always true! Example: there are lots of us talking about going to the gym and not actually going to the gym. So what happens when there’s a disconnect between what we want and what we actually do?

Scheduling overwhelm is a common modern affliction. It’s a wonderful idea to take inventory of your time once in a while. You only get 24 hours in a day. So let’s pay attention at where you’re really spending your time.

For example, we almost always spend more time on things like Facebook, TV or Pinterest than we think we do. Rest assured, it’s not that yo have to cut those activities out entirely! But when you see that they’re occupying time that you could be spending more on something you actually want to do, the right choice becomes clear.

If you don’t know what you’re manifesting quite yet, try just trimming down those time wasters and replacing them with more uplifting activities. When you get back to manifesting, you can also start thinking about what activities are ultimately more supportive of your major goals.


5. Clear Your Digital World

There’s no escaping modern technology these days. Your computer and phone are where we spend a ton of our time! Every time you look at that screen it’s sending you a message. So the question is: what message is it sending?

A cluttered desktop is yet more evidence of cluttered mental state. So why not clean things up so you are given a visual reminder that you are truly the one in control?

Go through old files. Toss the things you don’t need (or store them in the cloud). I’m a big fan of deleting stuff honestly! We tend to be digital packrats when it’s really unnecessary. For example, I tend to have about five versions of the same photo from my phone—only one or two of which are actually good. (Thanks Instagram!) There really is no point in keeping them all so I like to go through and delete the extras from time to time.

Whatever your technological Achilles Heel might be, just try to keep what matters and let your digital space be as clean as your mental space will soon be.




Clearing space mentally, physically and energetically is a wonderful first step for whatever you want to manifest! The more fresh energy we can bring into our life, the more new things we’ll attract. Whether you’re embarking on a major life change or not, clearing and reconfiguring the energy in your life is a wonderful first step.

It's a FACT of life: you're simply NOT going to fe It's a FACT of life: you're simply NOT going to feel good all the time.And that's okay!Not gonna lie: the last month or so has been rough for me.The darkness of winter + strict lockdowns/limited holiday celebrations were TOUGH.I've definitely had my moments of letting it all get to me.But that doesn't mean anything has gone wrong.It doesn't mean that I'm somehow failing.And it definitely does NOT mean I'm putting more space between me and my manifestation goals.Even with the BEST of intentions, life is 50/50. Expecting perfection at any time will ONLY set you up for disappointment.Feeling frustrated, down, exhausted: those are all normal feelings for anyone experiencing a pandemic (plus general winter blues/ political chaos etc.)So while I don't want to create MORE of those feelings, I'm also not going to judge myself for having them.Making your feelings WRONG does not speed you up back into feeling better. It only creates self-loathing and resistance.Are you feeling the same? Here are a few things that are helping me right now:- Just letting myself cry if I feel like it (Sometimes 10 minutes of a good cry is a sufficient release!)
- Concentrating on pandemic-lockdown friendly goals that I CAN achieve (Doing pilates every day, meditation + Manifestation Journaling)
- Taking a break from drinking (I only drank about once a week anyway! But why not try going without it for a month?)
- Doing more behind-the-scenes entrepreneur stuff (The kinds of things that are so easy to put off for "someday")
- Using my SAD lamp every morning! (I only just got it but I swear it's helping)
- NOT judging myself too harshly if I suddenly don't feel up to doing the work I had planned or posting as much I "should" (Being an entrepreneur brings an EXTRA level of potential self-judgment that's hard to get out of at times.)This is all just a great example of one of the most important lessons of LIFE.You don't get to choose all your circumstances. But you DO get to choose what you do WITH them.What are you choosing to create right now? Whether you're in lockdown or not, I'd love to hear it!
